About The Position

We are seeking to hire a Manager, Development Analytics and Capital to join our team. As a manager, you’ll help evaluate project performance, inform capital allocation, and shape developments that deliver long‑term value and create places where people thrive. Requirements

5+ years of relevant real estate investment or development experience working within a development firm or financial institution
Post-secondary education in real estate, business, finance, economics, or related field
Strong, in-depth understanding of the full development lifecycle
Proven experience operating and thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Critical and strategic thinker who identifies risks and opportunities and applies creative problem-solving to deliver high-performance outcomes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners, stakeholders, and colleagues across the organization
Ability to work independently and collaboratively to deliver results and achieve desired outcomes

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with the latest AI tools is considered a strong asset
An MBA or a professional designation (e.g., CFA, CPA, AACI) is considered a strong asset

Responsibilities

Underwrite and maintain dynamic and complex development proforma and cash flow models for single and multi-phase development projects
Critically evaluate proforma assumptions and conduct relevant market research
Prepare financial analysis, development scenarios, and sensitivity analysis to inform decision making and evaluate development options
Regularly evaluate market conditions to identify changes that give rise to opportunities to further maximize returns or mitigate risks
Proactively monitor project performance by tracking financial performance, schedules, and construction progress
Assist the team with preparing business plan presentations and handling other related ad hoc tasks
Perform budget-to-actual variance analysis for ongoing projects and attain a comprehensive grasp of incurred costs versus estimated costs to complete, ensuring a clear understanding of project financials
Build strong relationships across project teams to effectively understand all projects within the masterplan
Assist in the preparation of Monthly and Quarterly reporting materials for leadership and ownership groups
