About The Position

This position supports our “Core Team” serving NFL, NCAA, UFC, WWE, and PGA of America. The Design Manager develops and manages project schedules and workflows for design deliverables. Working closely with both the design and production teams, this role ensures projects progress efficiently through established processes across the full project lifecycle from ideation and quoting to design, approval, production, and installation. Company policy requires at least 4 days per week in office, Fridays you may work from home.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in relevant field
  • 3+ years of experience in design, project, or event management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and time management
  • Ability to think globally about the department or project as a whole

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working on Large-scale events or experiential marketing
  • Familiarity with or experience around fabrication shops, print shops, or environmental graphic production processes and specifics.
  • Ability to understand CAD drawings, layouts, and floor plans
  • Knowledge of Smartsheet, FileMaker, Hightail, or similar
  • Basic proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project schedules and workflow across multiple projects for full-time and freelance design staff to ensure accuracy through completion and delivery.
  • Manage the asset production process with internal creatives, client and IP stakeholders, and external production partners
  • Ensure the accuracy of sizing, materials, and installation methods throughout the design team's tracking documentation
  • Organize client assets within our file management systems
  • Follow all necessary Event Production Department procedures and processes including: expense reports, quote sheets, time keeping, invoice processing, temp hire and independent contractor agreements.
  • Must be adaptable with work and travel schedule, and be available to travel for work, which may include extended work hours during nights, weekends, and holidays.
