About The Position

Diodes Incorporated is seeking a Design Engineering Manager to lead our AI-Assisted Design Engineering team. This role will lead and develop a growing team of engineers focused on applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) and automation technologies to accelerate semiconductor design, verification, and product development. This role is ideal for an emerging engineering leader with who is passionate about mentoring others, driving innovation, and helping build next-generation engineering capabilities. The successful candidate will blend technical expertise with strong leadership potential, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment while guiding engineers through complex technical challenges. This position offers the opportunity to influence engineering strategy, champion AI-enabled design methodologies, and play a key role in developing the next generation of semiconductor talent.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (EE), Electrical Engineering & Computer Science (EECS), or a related field.
2 to 5+ years of analog, mixed-signal, or semiconductor design experience.
Demonstrated experience leading engineering projects, coordinating cross-functional initiatives, mentoring junior engineers, or serving in a technical leadership capacity.
Proven ability to influence and guide others through collaboration, coaching, and technical expertise.
Strong understanding of: Analog and mixed-signal circuit design
Strong understanding of: Semiconductor device fundamentals

Nice To Haves

Strong understanding of: Circuit simulation, verification, and characterization
Strong understanding of: Engineering problem-solving and debugging methodologies
Experience with Python or similar programming languages for automation, data analysis, or workflow optimization.
Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a dynamic engineering environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
