About The Position

Blake Willson Group (BWG) is seeking an experienced Deputy Project Manager, Real Property Remediation Services to support the execution of a federal real property remediation program. The ideal candidate will have experience managing federal contract operations, quality and compliance requirements, and cross-functional teams in support of federal standards. This role will support the Project Manager by ensuring contract performance, workforce continuity, quality control, security compliance, and Government stakeholder coordination. The Deputy Project Manager will help ensure real property remediation activities are accurate, complete, traceable, and audit ready.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience supporting federal programs, including contract execution, operational leadership, compliance management, and coordination with Government stakeholders.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting real property remediation, audit readiness, quality control, or financial management activities within Army, DoD, or federal environments.
  • 5+ years of experience managing cross-functional teams, implementing quality control processes, resolving operational issues, and ensuring compliance with contract requirements.
  • Must have an active Secret Security Clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional certification in project management, program management, financial management, or a related discipline.
  • Experience supporting federal real property programs.
  • Knowledge of Army real property regulations, including AR 405 series, DoD FMR, and related federal reporting requirements.
  • Experience managing Quality Control Plans (QCP), Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans (QASP), and Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements.
  • Experience supporting federal audit readiness initiatives, internal controls, and remediation activities.
  • Familiarity with CAC processing, background investigations, cybersecurity training requirements, and personnel access compliance.
  • Strong experience coordinating distributed teams in compliance-driven environments.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Manager in overseeing daily contract operations and ensuring remediation activities meet federal requirements for accuracy, completeness, traceability, and auditability.
  • Serve as the PM’s alternate for operational matters, providing continuity of leadership and maintaining uninterrupted contract performance during PM absence.
  • Coordinate workforce planning and staffing requirements to ensure adequate coverage and operational continuity throughout the period of performance.
  • Support the development, maintenance, and execution of the Quality Control Plan (QCP) to ensure services comply with contract requirements, performance standards, and Government expectations.
  • Monitor internal quality control procedures to identify, prevent, and correct defective services while ensuring corrective actions are documented and sustained.
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations related to real property, security, information technology, and personnel access requirements.
  • Oversee contractor compliance with physical security requirements, including safeguarding Government property, facilities, and equipment.
  • Manage key and key card control procedures, ensuring timely reporting of lost, duplicated, or compromised access credentials.
  • Support Government meetings, including post-award conferences, recurring status meetings, and technical discussions with the Contracting Officer (KO), Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver required reports, contract deliverables, and documentation in accordance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements.
  • Ensure contractor personnel properly identify themselves as contractor staff during all Government interactions and communications.
  • Apply knowledge of DoD Financial Management Regulation (DoD FMR), OMB requirements, OPM guidance, Executive Orders, and A-136 reporting requirements supporting real property operations and audit readiness.
