The Manager, Clinical Database Programming is responsible for the comprehensive leadership and oversight of the Clinical Database Programming (CDP) team, encompassing performance management, career development, training, and resource planning. The role provides technical expertise and governance across all EDC-related activities, including the design, configuration, validation, and deployment of study databases and eCRFs, ensuring full compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and guidelines prior to live data entry. The Manager collaborates closely with Data Managers, Project Managers, and senior stakeholders to define project scope, manage timelines and deliverables, and mitigate risks across the study portfolio. In addition to driving strategic initiatives such as the EDC Standards Library and system development, the role leads corporate compliance activities, contributes to SOP development, supports business development efforts, and fosters a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and knowledge sharing across the department.
