About The Position

We are seeking an Experienced Manager, Analytics & Decision Intelligence, to lead a hybrid team of BI Engineers, Data Analysts, and Data Scientists delivering trusted analytics, Enterprise reporting, and decision-support capabilities across Finance, Inventory, Merchandising, and Business Operations. This role is responsible for transforming data into actionable insights that inform decisions, not just dashboards. You will balance operational excellence in reporting with forward-looking analytics and data science enablement, while growing and managing a globally distributed team.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in analytics, BI engineering, data engineering, or data science
  • 4+ years of people management experience leading analytics or BI teams
  • Strong experience with BI tools such as MicroStrategy, Looker, Tableau, or similar
  • Advanced SQL skills and strong understanding of analytical data modeling
  • Hands-on familiarity with LLMs, GenAI concepts, and applied AI use cases
  • Experience working with cloud data warehouses and modern analytics stacks
  • Proven ability to manage distributed and offshore teams
  • Strong communication skills and experience partnering with senior business stakeholders

Nice To Haves

  • Experience enabling self-service analytics at scale
  • Exposure to LLM orchestration patterns (e.g., RAG, prompt engineering, tool-calling)
  • Experience operationalizing AI into analytics products or workflows
  • Background in Retail, Merchandising, Inventory, or Operations analytics

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a globally distributed team of BI / Reporting Engineers, Data Analysts, and Data Scientists
  • Own delivery of enterprise dashboards, reports, analytical datasets, and decision-support products
  • Drive analytics that directly support business decisions - not just descriptive reporting
  • Ensure consistent metric definitions, high data quality, and trusted analytics outputs
  • Partner with business leaders to translate decisions and workflows into analytical and AI-enabled solutions
  • Identify opportunities where LLMs can automate, augment, or accelerate existing analytics and reporting workflows
  • Embed AI-powered capabilities (e.g., automated insights, summarization, conversational analytics) into analytics products
  • Balance short-term reporting needs with long-term analytics and decision intelligence strategy
