About The Position

Chromalloy is seeking a Customer Solutions Manager to lead their Customer Solutions team. This role is the primary point of ownership for the customer experience within the local operating unit, providing leadership, direction, and coaching to ensure customers receive reliable service, timely communication, and innovative solutions. The successful candidate will lead customer-facing operations, develop and mentor a high-performing team, drive process improvements, and strengthen customer relationships to support retention, satisfaction, and long-term revenue growth. This role directly supports aviation safety and reliability by ensuring the repair and manufacturing of critical aerospace components. The position is located in Orangeburg, NY, with a schedule of Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Leadership experience in customer service, sales, operations, quality, or business development.
  • Aerospace or other highly regulated industry experience.
  • Strong customer relationship management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and make sound business decisions.
  • Effective written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Due to government regulation only US persons (U.S. citizen, U.S. naturalized citizen, U.S. permanent resident, holder of U.S. approved political asylee or refugee status) may be considered for this role.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leading customer-facing teams in aerospace manufacturing or MRO environments.
  • Knowledge of contract management and pricing strategies.
  • Experience conducting customer business reviews and performance reporting.
  • Familiarity with export control requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the local Customer Solutions team.
  • Deliver a responsive, high-quality customer experience.
  • Drive customer communication, issue resolution, and account support.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer across the organization.
  • Build strong customer relationships that support retention and growth.
  • Lead escalations and coordinate resolution of delivery or quality concerns.
  • Develop team capabilities through coaching, training, and development.
  • Identify and implement process improvements.
  • Support quoting, pricing, profitability analysis, and business development efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements and export regulations.
  • Identify growth opportunities and strengthen customer partnerships.
