About The Position

The Customer Compliance Manager ensures adherence to customer regulatory and contractual requirements within a warehouse environment. This role leads audit readiness, manages customer compliance activities, and oversees a team of 10–15 employees while serving as the primary customer-facing compliance contact.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of warehouse compliance, quality, or operations experience
  • 2+ years of people management experience
  • Strong audit, documentation, and customer-facing experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead customer audits, assessments, and inspections from preparation through closure
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer compliance inquiries and escalations
  • Ensure continuous audit readiness across all warehouse operations
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 10–15 compliance or quality team members
  • Set clear performance expectations and ensure accountability
  • Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and corrective action as needed
  • Own and track corrective and preventive action plans to completion
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to address root causes and prevent recurrence
  • Ensure compliance documentation, SOPs, and work instructions are accurate, current, and audit-ready
  • Maintain evidence repositories to support customer and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor daily warehouse operations to ensure adherence to customer standards, safety requirements, and contractual obligations
  • Identify compliance gaps and proactively implement corrective actions
  • Ensure required compliance training is completed, documented, and validated
  • Partner with HR and Operations to support onboarding and ongoing compliance education
