We're looking for a Manager to join our Principal Custody Solutions team. They will manage operational activities to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services. Drives process improvements, monitors performance, and supports initiatives that enhance outcomes for the business and its stakeholders. Aligns work with broader organizational goals while maintaining oversight of resources, risk, and compliance. Champions operational excellence and continuous improvement across their area of responsibility. Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in operations, service delivery, or a related functional area, gained through work, training, military service, or education.
  • 1+ years of experience coaching, mentoring, or supporting peers and junior team members.
  • Demonstrated collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to influence peers and partners to achieve team and operational objectives.
  • Working knowledge of retirement operations, client servicing, regulatory frameworks, and plan rules/regulations, with the ability to ensure compliance and quality.
  • Experience managing or coordinating operational tasks, tracking team performance, and helping ensure service delivery expectations are met.
  • Ability to monitor performance metrics, identify issues or opportunities for improvement, and implement solutions.
  • Able to work effectively with peers, other teams, and cross-functional partners to resolve operational challenges and improve workflows.
  • Ability to contribute to process improvements and help embed operational best practices within the team and area.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience in Custody operations.
  • Hands-on experience working directly in securities clearing, settlement, custody, or payments platforms (e.g., SEI T3000, DTCC, Federal Reserve systems, SWIFT).

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily team activities, ensuring tasks and projects are completed accurately, on time, and according to standards.
  • Manage team-level budgets and resources, ensuring efficient use of staff and operational tools.
  • Identify and solve operational problems, supporting process improvements and adoption of best practices at the team level.
  • Collaborate with peers and other teams to resolve workflow issues and maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Coach and support team members, set clear expectations, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Identify training needs and help team members build skills for current and future roles.
  • Promote a collaborative and accountable team culture focused on continuous improvement.
  • Support or coordinate initiatives and projects within the team to meet operational goals.
  • Provide data, insights, and recommendations to help improve team performance and service delivery.
  • Assist in applying governance, compliance, and moderate-risk considerations in day-to-day activities.
  • Help identify and address operational risks within the team, operating within moderate risk tolerance.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies, standards, and controls in daily activities.
  • Perform other job-related duties and/or special projects as required.
