About The Position

This role is for a Manager, Creative Studio Samples Management within Walmart Creative's in-house agency. The position focuses on leading the sourcing, tracking, organization, and movement of products and samples essential for creative productions like photography, video, and content. The role requires a blend of operational excellence, team leadership, and process improvement to ensure the success of these productions. The Content Studio, as part of Walmart Creative, is an on-site production hub with experts in various creative fields. This role is crucial for providing the necessary products, processes, and operational support for large-scale creative output.

Requirements

  • Experience supporting creative production, retail marketing, merchandising, studio operations, or related environments.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage large-scale inventories and multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience leading teams and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.
  • Understanding of production workflows, logistics, inventory management, and operational process improvement.
  • Ability to leverage data, systems, and technology to improve visibility, efficiency, and execution.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Marketing, Creative Writing, Advertising, Fine Arts, or related field and 1 year's experience in interactive design, editorial content management, or related field OR 3 years' experience in interactive design, editorial content management, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team responsible for product and sample management across multiple creative production workstreams.
  • Oversee inventory tracking, sourcing, transportation, storage, and disposition of products and samples throughout the production lifecycle.
  • Partner with creative, merchandising, marketing, production, and external teams to ensure seamless product readiness and execution.
  • Drive operational excellence by implementing processes, improving workflows, and maintaining accurate tracking systems and inventory records.
  • Identify and resolve risks proactively while supporting production readiness, budget management, and continuous process improvement.
