About The Position

The Manager, Corporate Strategy & Planning supports the Senior Vice President of Strategic Corporate Planning and Service Line Planning in advancing system-wide strategic priorities across the TriHealth organization. This role provides leadership in corporate strategic planning, service line planning support, market research, new business development, data assimilation, and high‑impact executive presentation development. The manager oversees the Planning & Strategy Department, providing supervision and developmental leadership for 3–5 full-time employees. The role partners closely with senior executives and cross-functional leaders to drive organizational alignment, support long-term planning, and lead initiatives that improve processes, strengthen programs, and enable growth. This position requires experienced critical thinking, strong organizational skills, executive storytelling, advanced presentation design skills, and the ability to lead complex meetings and multi-system initiatives that influence organizational direction and performance. This position also supports strategic planning, business development, and program management support for the TCBI, Medical Specialties Service Lines, and other service lines as identified.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Marketing, Public Health, Data Analytics, or a related field required.
10+ years Healthcare experience required.
5 - 7 years Strategic Planning, business planning, market analysis, healthcare operations, or project consulting experience required.
Experience developing executive-level presentations required.
Experience working with physicians in program development.
Experience collaborating across matrixed departments.
Experience delivering on project consulting assignments.
Expert strategic thinker with strong knowledge of healthcare delivery systems, market dynamics, financial concepts, and enterprise planning methodologies.
Executive presence, exceptional communication and executive storytelling skills.
Advanced analytical and problem‑solving abilities with data assimilation and synthesis.
Strong leadership and collaboration capabilities.
Political savvy in heavily matrixed environment.
High proficiency in advanced PowerPoint, Excel, and presentation design tools.

Responsibilities

Support the development and execution of annual and long-term strategic plans.
Develop executive-level presentations for ELT, various Board meetings, and Service Lines.
Conduct environmental scans, SWOT analyses, and stakeholder interviews.
Track progress against strategic goals and prepare executive-level reports.
Lead organizational change management tied to strategic shifts.
Facilitate planning sessions and strategic retreats.
Develop and execute internal communication strategies for strategic planning.
Create presentations, talking points, and scripts for executive, senior, and physician leadership.
Plan internal events including State of the Union, retreats, and workshops.
Produce engaging executive storytelling with data, trends, internal input and industry drivers.
Collaborate with Marketing and Communications to align messaging and presentations.
Lead initiatives advancing business plan development, program development and process optimization.
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams for strategic implementation.
Provide system-wide planning support to the SVP and Planning Team.
Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and feasibility assessments.
Support service line strategies, ambulatory planning, and finance planning.
Support leadership in translating strategic plans into KPIs and actionable implementation steps.
