About The Position

BILL is the financial operations platform powering millions of small and midsize businesses, and our Corporate FP&A team sits at the center of every major decision the company makes. We're looking for a Manager, Corporate FP&A who can do something rare: think like a finance leader and build like a systems expert. If you want a seat where your models, your dashboards, and your judgment all directly shape how a public fintech company plans, forecasts, and grows, this is that seat. You'll own and evolve our financial planning system (Adaptive Planning) while also rolling up your sleeves on core Corporate FP&A work: planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting that goes straight to senior leadership. It's a rare hybrid role for someone who wants to be equally excellent at the technical and the strategic.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Corporate FP&A: planning, forecasting, variance analysis, and executive-level reporting.
  • A track record of being a trusted advisor to business partners and earning a seat at the table with leadership.
  • Strong command of financial statements and the ability to communicate complex financial results clearly and confidently, in writing and in the room.
  • Hands-on experience with Adaptive Planning (Adaptive Insights) or a comparable financial planning platform such as Oracle Hyperion, SAP, Anaplan, Pigment, or Planful.
  • Experience designing, building, or implementing planning systems and data integrations, not just using them.
  • Comfort working with data beyond the planning tool itself: SQL, databases, and reporting systems are a real plus.
  • Practical experience using AI tools (like Claude Cowork) to work faster and smarter. We're looking for candidates who already think of AI as part of their everyday toolkit, not a novelty.
  • Strong academic record and intellectual horsepower. We're looking for a true "athlete": someone who is sharp, curious, and has consistently been at the top of the room, academically and professionally.
  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable moving fluidly between deep technical work and executive-level strategy.
  • A learner. You pick up new systems, tools, and technologies quickly and enjoy staying ahead of them.
  • A team player who brings energy, ownership, and a high bar to everything you touch.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the owner of our Adaptive Planning financial planning system: build, maintain, and continuously improve the models, workflows, and data integrations (NetSuite, Workday HCM, and other source systems) that power company-wide planning and reporting.
  • Partner across Corporate FP&A on core planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting cycles, including variance analysis against plan and forecast, and surfacing the key issues, risks, and business drivers leadership needs to see.
  • Consolidate financial forecasts and build the presentations and narratives shared directly with senior executives.
  • Partner closely with Accounting on changes to financial statement presentation and ensure consistency across systems.
  • Bring AI and automation into everyday FP&A work, using tools like Claude Cowork to speed up analysis, streamline reporting, and free up time for higher-value strategic work.
  • Take on ad hoc analysis and cross-functional financial projects as they come up, because in this role, they will.

Benefits

  • 100% paid employee health, dental, and vision plans (choose HMO, PPO, or HDHP)
  • HSA & FSA accounts
  • Life Insurance, Long & Short-term disability coverage
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • 11+ Observed holidays and wellness days and flexible time off
  • Employee Stock Purchase Program with employee discounts
  • Wellness & Fitness initiatives
  • Employee recognition and referral programs
