About The Position
EY-Parthenon is seeking a Manager for its Corporate and Growth Strategy team. This role involves advising clients across the transaction lifecycle with a focus on corporate strategy. You will help clients develop actionable growth strategies, including corporate strategy, investment strategy, transaction evaluation, and value creation. The position requires developing business strategies by analyzing market trends, industry conditions, financial data, customer research, macroeconomic forecasting, and portfolio optimization. You will review transaction rationale and deal documents to identify critical business issues and risks. Responsibilities include defining engagement objectives and deliverables in consultation with senior leadership, managing work streams and projects from data collection to final deliverables, and leading and motivating diverse teams in quantitative and/or qualitative analysis to develop client strategies and solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Education, Public Policy, a Life Science field, a Health Care field, or a related field plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate of work experience performing quantitative or qualitative analysis.
- Alternatively, a Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Education, Public Policy, a Life Science field, a Health Care field, or a related field plus 2 years of work experience performing quantitative or qualitative analysis.
- 2 years of experience consulting to provide corporate clients with strategic solutions.
- 2 years of consulting experience including managing business strategy and M&A strategic diligence projects in complex environments.
- 2 years of experience making detailed assessments of industry, products, markets, competitors and customers to identify risks and opportunities.
- 1 year of experience in project management and in supervising engagement teams comprised of 2 or more team members.
- 2 years of experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis which includes performing primary research with industry experts and customers, drafting survey instruments, conducting macro-economic forecasts, building financial models from scratch using MS Excel, presenting analysis and recommendations to senior clients and stakeholders.
- Requires travel up to 40%, of which 5% may be international, to serve client needs.

Responsibilities

- Develop business strategies by analyzing market trends or conditions, industry trends, financial data, and utilizing customer research, macroeconomic forecasting, and portfolio optimization.
- Review transaction rationale and/or deal documents to identify critical business issues and risks relating to a proposed transaction.
- Assist in defining the objective and scope of strategy engagements and client deliverables in consultation with the Vice President and Managing Director.
- Manage work streams and projects from initial data collection and analysis to creating final client deliverables.
- Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds in performing quantitative and/or qualitative analysis to develop strategies and solutions for clients.
