HometapBoston, MA
$130,000 - $145,000Remote

About The Position

Here at Hometap, we’re collaborative, passionate, and always ready to roll up our sleeves to create solutions that help people get more out of homeownership — and out of life. Our first product, a home equity investment, gives homeowners the opportunity to quickly access the equity they’ve built in their home to pay for what’s most important to them, from handling debt to finally making much-needed renovations, without taking on debt. We work hard, and have some fun along the way, too. The Boston Globe and Forbes have recognized us as a great place to work, and we’ve been honored for our commitment to innovation in the fintech space by Inc., HousingWire, and more! In case you need any more convincing, we also provide competitive compensation, healthcare coverage, generous PTO, a meaningful equity package, and a strong culture with plenty of opportunities for team-building and camaraderie. We are seeking a Manager, Corporate Accounting to lead Hometap’s corporate accounting function. This role is part of the Finance department and reports directly to the Controller. You’re a great fit for this role if you have strong experience leading all aspects of a company’s accounting, financial reporting, and related processes, are highly detail-oriented, and take initiative in identifying and resolving issues before they escalate. You thrive in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing quality, and you’re energized by working cross-functionally to help business partners make better, faster use of financial information. The Manager, Corporate Accounting will work closely with the Strategic Finance team in support of planning and budgeting, and will partner regularly with our Fund Accounting and Capital Markets Operations teams to ensure that related party transactions are captured accurately across all entities. Strong cross-functional communication and the ability to effectively prioritize competing demands are essential to success in this role.
