Requirements

8-10+ years of relevant experience in project management of large and/or complex projects.
Excellent Demonstrated Leadership Skills
Ability to work and develop rapport with all levels of management and staff.
Ability to represent the project team and the company in public forums.
Strong team building skills.
EPC contract management and negotiating skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation capabilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong understanding of contracts and contractual risks and structure.
Strong commercial, technical and construction knowledge and skills.
Demonstrated on-site leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Manages and directs large major construction projects (significant capital budget with 2 - 5 years duration).
Has main accountability and responsibility for project oversite.
Directs multiple teams including engineering, construction and commissioning functions.
Has responsibility for and manages total project scope, schedule and budget from conception to completion.
Manages necessary resources (including construction project managers, contractors, Dominion project managers, engineers, technicians, start-up and commissioning teams) and administration from within and outside the organization including contractors and employees.
Responsibility for compliance with contracts (safety, environmental, technical, quality and commercial).
Primary interface with engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractors and other contractors that interface with project including Transmission, gas pipeline, utilities, local community organizations and site inspectors.
Has ultimate responsibility to transition project from Construction to Operations.
Typically has multiple discipline oversight (technical and business) accountability and reports to a Director or Executive.
