About The Position

The Manager, Compliance Policies, Training & Communications is responsible for supporting and executing key elements of DePuy Synthes’ Global compliance program related to policy governance, compliance training, and employee communications. This role helps ensure that employees are informed, trained, and equipped to meet healthcare compliance obligations, and that compliance policies are maintained in alignment with applicable laws, regulations, and industry codes. The Manager partners closely with Legal, Compliance, HR, and business stakeholders to implement effective policies, deliver engaging compliance training, and support clear, consistent compliance communications. This role plays an important part in reinforcing a culture of integrity and accountability across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Compliance, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Communications, Law, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in healthcare compliance, regulatory, legal, training, communications, or related functions.
  • Experience supporting the development or implementation of compliance policies, training programs, or communications in a regulated environment.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare compliance laws, regulations, and industry codes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex compliance concepts into clear, practical guidance.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
  • Fluency in English required.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree or professional certification in Compliance, Legal, Risk, Ethics, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or broader life sciences industries.
  • Experience supporting learning management systems, policy management tools, or compliance communication platforms.
  • Exposure to risk‑based training approaches or adult learning principles.
  • Experience working with third‑party vendors or external partners.
  • Change management or process improvement experience.
  • Compliance, legal, ethics, or training‑related certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development, maintenance, and governance of Global healthcare compliance policies and related procedures, including coordinating updates, reviews, approvals, and publication.
  • Assist in implementing a structured policy lifecycle management process to ensure policies remain current with evolving laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Support the design, rollout, and administration of compliance training programs, including annual compliance awareness training and targeted, risk‑based training for specific roles or functions.
  • Partner with HCC colleagues and business stakeholders to identify training needs and help tailor content to address relevant compliance risks.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of compliance communications, including awareness campaigns, intranet content, and targeted messaging to reinforce key compliance topics.
  • Assist with onboarding and foundational compliance training for new employees or compliance professionals, as applicable.
  • Coordinate with internal partners and external vendors supporting training content development, learning platforms, or communications delivery.
  • Monitor training completion, participation metrics, and feedback, and support continuous improvement of training effectiveness and engagement.
  • Provide support for audits, monitoring activities, and internal inquiries related to compliance policies, training, or communications.
