Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Expert level skier
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office / MS Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High degree of organization, attention to detail and level of professional conduct. Self-starter, ambitious and multi-tasker.

Nice To Haves

  • College Degree
  • Previous experience executing events
  • Experience with timing racing events, timing software, and production of competition results.
  • Prior resort operations experience
  • Previous snowmobile operation experience
  • USSA Certification

Responsibilities

  • Hires, trains, schedules and manages performance of department staff to meet the goals of this department.
  • Responsible for managing department's financial performance. Accountable for department's financial results.
  • Manage capital projects to be completed in timely fashion and within budget.
  • Participate in event planning. Provide coordination and operational support for marketing events and public relations requests, including National Televised Competitions/Events
  • Coordinate on mountain events, including alpine racing, freestyle and big mountain events. Coordinates training activities and hill space allocations with mountain operations and ski clubs.
  • Execute contracts with third parties in accordance with company legal standards
  • Manage safety and guest service expectations with all operations in department, including but not limited to; snowmobile use, venue set up and tear down, use of tools and equipment, event course safety.
  • Manage execution of daily set up and tear down of Ski and Snowboard School on mountain venues
