About The Position

The Township of Oro-Medonte is seeking a dynamic and collaborative leader who is passionate about community engagement and committed to delivering exceptional public services. Reporting to the Director, Operations and Community Services, the Manager of Community Services will work in a cross-functional environment and will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing Township facilities, parks, community programs, special events, and related projects in a manner that is responsive to the needs of a growing community while optimizing municipal resources.

Requirements

Graduate of a post-secondary program in business administration, recreation management, engineering, facilities management, or a related field.
Minimum of seven years of progressive experience in community services.
At least three years of team leadership and project management experience.
Strong working knowledge of the legislation and governance that impact facilities, parks, and recreation management.
Excellent communication and budget management skills.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of service.
Satisfactory Driver’s Abstract and Criminal Background Check.
