This role advances the community mission of Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) by serving as the primary point of contact for community organizations and members within BILH’s Community Benefits Service Area (CBSA). The position is responsible for fulfilling regulatory requirements, establishing and managing relationships, and engaging with the community for assigned hospitals and across the BILH CBSA. Key responsibilities include managing community engagement, building and strengthening community relationships, and supporting business needs and regulatory requirements such as the triennial community health needs assessment, and implementation strategy development, tracking, and reporting. The role requires initiative, curiosity, independent and innovative thinking, maturity, good decision-making skills, excellent organizational and communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, the capacity to meet project deadlines, provide outstanding customer service, and be a positive team player.
