About The Position

The Manager, Commercial Operations is responsible for leading the transition of client programs following contract execution, serving as the primary business contact for assigned portfolios and driving cross-functional alignment to ensure efficient delivery and a seamless client experience. This role drives cross-functional alignment across operations, quality, supply chain, and external partners to ensure efficient delivery and a seamless client experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or engineering discipline required
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical or medical device environments (e.g., manufacturing, quality, project management, business development, or commercial operations)
  • Strong analytical and business acumen, with the ability to interpret data and inform decision-making
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients and cross-functional stakeholders, including presenting complex information to leadership
  • Highly self-directed, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • advanced degree preferred
  • Working knowledge of biologics, including cell and gene therapy, fermentation, cell culture, purification, fill/finish, and analytical services preferred

Responsibilities

  • Act as a subject matter expert on segment offerings, capabilities, and business processes, providing guidance across internal teams
  • Partner with Program Management to support client relationships and ensure a high level of client satisfaction
  • Collaborate with Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to address critical client needs and drive aligned execution
  • Analyze market trends, client needs, and portfolio gaps to inform commercial strategy and identify new opportunities
  • Support business development strategy through input on targeting, account planning, pricing, and participation in S&OP and demand planning processes
  • Other duties as assigned
