About The Position

As a Manager of Commercial Banking at First Citizens Bank, you will develop and expand complex commercial relationships in the Charlotte market. This leadership role manages a team of Commercial and/or Business Bankers to maximize business development efforts and positively impact profitability. The position leads sales activity, develops sales strategies, supports credit quality and deal processing, represents the Bank in the community, and coordinates with internal partners to manage financial services relationships for customers and prospects.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience, or high school diploma/GED/equivalent and 14 years of experience in commercial or business lending, credit or business development, or financial services management.
Strong financial analysis skills.

Responsibilities

Actively lead and manage a sales team by defining expectations, inspecting pipeline activity, and participating in calling efforts with the team.
Develop and implement sales strategies to accomplish short- and long-term financial objectives based on executive strategic direction.
Partner with the credit team and guide the team to maintain strong credit quality and effective deal processing.
Represent the Bank at civic and community functions to enhance the Bank's image and develop additional business.
Maintain productive working relationships with Business Services partners and other corporate divisions, bringing sales partners into client relationships to manage the total financial services relationship for customers and prospects.
