About The Position

This is a temporary, part-time role working 30 hours per pay period (0.4 FTE). The Manager, Clinical Operations After Hours will report to the Director, Nursing Professional Practice. This role uses clinical knowledge, experience, and leadership skills to promote quality care and the utilization of best practices. The manager will represent clinical and site administration during silent hours, focusing on facilitating and providing quality care consistent with the organization’s mission, values, policies, procedures, best practices, professional standards, and legislation. Flexibility to work at multiple sites is required.

Requirements

Undergraduate degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing with relevant undergraduate degree
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a supervisory role.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in nursing.
Valid certificate of registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).

Nice To Haves

Certification in gerontology, palliative care or rehabilitation.
Knowledge of and/or relevant experience in the areas of dialysis, ventilator.
Fluent in French and English.

Facilitate and provide quality care consistent with the organization’s current mission, values, policies and procedures, best practices, professional standards and legislations.
Be flexible to work at multiple sites, as needed.
