After-Hours Advocate

CAPSALogan, UT
Onsite

About The Position

At CAPSA, we are working toward a world with empowered survivors, safe homes, and children living without fear. Every day, our team shows up with courage and compassion to support survivors of domestic violence, sexual abuse, and rape in Cache County, Franklin County, and the Bear Lake area. As an After-Hours Advocate, you will be a critical part of our team-often the first person a survivor speaks to when they reach out for help. You'll provide shelter support, crisis line coverage, and compassionate interaction with residents after our regular business hours.

  • Organized and able to follow through on details, including documentation and safety protocols
  • Ready to jump in where needed-whether it's preparing a room, listening to a resident, or coordinating with other advocates
  • Flexibility, empathy, and a strong sense of responsibility

  • Interact with residents with compassion and professionalism, helping to mediate concerns as they arise
  • Participate in monthly team meetings, CAPSA's 40-hour core advocacy training, and ongoing education
