GEICO is looking for a highly motivated, innovative, and detailed leader to fill the role as a SIU Manager in enterprise fraud analytics who has a passion for managing individuals and building a best-in-class analytics and reporting suite. As an SIU Manager, you will supervise the management of the Special Investigations Unit Analytical teams and ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures. It will be your responsibility to lead Supervisors over individual SIU Analyst sections that will be responsible for SIU reporting, analytics, dashboards and proactive data mining activities. You will be responsible for developing action plans, coaching, and using performance data to make decisions. Oversee the development of reporting and analytics to help the SIU department make data driven decisions and anomaly detection. Coordinate and manage training for associates. Responsible for a team that leads the development of executive level communications and reports. Is comfortable presenting and making recommendations to leadership from those reports. Participate in business planning and strategic developments. Manger will work independently and in a team environment.

Requirements

  • Must be able to follow complex instructions, resolve conflicts or facilitate conflict resolution, and have strong organization/priority setting skills.
  • Must be able to multi-task.
  • Must be able to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Must have 3+ years’ experience managing leadership associates while being responsible for the development, execution and outcomes of business plan initiatives.
  • Must have 3+ years’ experience in an analytical role.
  • Must have intermediate to expert level skills in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerBi and SQL.
  • Must be fluent in SAS or Python.
  • Must have a degree in Math, Statistics, Engineering, Analytics, Data Science or another quantitative or equivalent degree.
  • Must be able to travel up to 25% as conditions allow.

Nice To Haves

  • Cloud data experience a plus but not a requirement.
