About The Position

As a Manager, Claim Management you will support complex capital projects globally. You will focus on claim management prevention preparation, negotiation and resolution, ensuring the protection on our contractual and financial interests throughout the full project Lifecyle. You will report to the Director, Supply Chain Capital and work remote. 100% remote role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of procurement project management experience

Nice To Haves

  • Supply Chain certification preferred
  • PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy a change and claim management strategy for assigned projects from contract award to close-out
  • Lead identification, assessment and quantification of claims, variations and changes (cost and schedule)
  • Analyze contractual entitlement, causes and impact (time, cost, productivity)
  • Coordinate claim submissions, defenses and counterclaims following contract provisions
  • Support negotiations to achieve fair resolution
  • Coordinate with Legal and necessary partners on dispute resolution strategies (amical settlement, mediation, arbitration, and litigation)
  • Establish and maintain structured change management processes within project teams
  • Monitor early warning signals and contractual risks, escalating issues
  • Ensure compliance with notice requirements, contractual milestones and documentation obligations
  • Contribute to risk register, contingency assessments, and commercial forecasts
  • Be the ESC contact for claims and contractual matters within the project
  • Support project reviews by providing visibility on claims status, exposure and opportunities
  • Communicate with Project Controls for schedule analysis (delay, disruption, acceleration)
  • Provide regular reporting on claims status, financial exposure and recovery timeframes
  • Support lessons learned exercises to improve execution and claim prevention
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of claims processes, standards and tools
