We are seeking a Corporate Risk & Claims Management Specialist who thrives on problem-solving, data analysis, and driving tangible financial impact. This is no ordinary claims processing role. This is a high-visibility opportunity to own the full lifecycle of corporate claims, partner cross-functionally with executive leadership, and directly influence our bottom line in a fast-growing, acquisition-driven environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of dedicated experience managing Workers’ Compensation, Corporate Risk, or Commercial Claims.
  • Deep understanding of Workers’ Compensation laws/regulations, alongside Commercial Auto and General Liability claims processes.
  • Proven track record working effectively with TPAs, brokers, and commercial insurance carriers.
  • Ability to dissect loss runs, evaluate reserve reports, interpret claims dashboards, and translate data into actionable risk-reduction strategies.
  • High proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel for deep data analysis) and corporate claims portals.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to influence outcomes across various internal departments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of Workers’ Compensation, Auto Liability, and General Liability claims from initial intake through strategic resolution.
  • Serve as the primary liaison and champion for LES with key external partners, including our TPA (Sedgwick), Broker (Alliant), carriers, and legal teams.
  • Monitor and proactively challenge claim reserves to ensure accurate financial exposure; aggressively pursue cost-saving opportunities through subrogation, targeted settlement strategies, and medical management.
  • Analyze claims data and dashboards to identify risk trends, participate in serious incident reviews, and collaborate with leadership to implement solutions that reduce future claim frequency and severity.
  • Prepare high-level summaries for executive reviews and partner closely with Corporate Finance on reserves, exposure reporting, and cost tracking.
  • Facilitate the seamless integration of newly acquired companies into the existing LES insurance and risk management framework.
  • Oversee the Certificate of Insurance (COI) process, support annual renewal marketing, partner with Fleet on asset recovery, and maintain pristine compliance data (hours, miles, etc.) for safety reporting.
