About The Position

The Chemical Sales Manager reports to the Divisional President. Located in Landover, MD. This is a Full-Time, Hybrid position. The Sales Manager is a dynamic leader responsible for driving sales growth and managing a high-performing chemical sales team. This role involves developing strategic initiatives, fostering client relationships, and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and organizational objectives.

Requirements

6 – 8 years of progressive experience in sales management, preferably in a similar industry, or equivalent military or practical experience.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Proficient in CRM software and other relevant sales tools.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
Willingness to travel as required.
Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.

Lead the development of chemical sales forecasts and budgets.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities and market segments.
Collaborate with the sales team to expand the customer base and increase market share.
Implement and enhance effective sales processes and workflows.
Identify areas for process improvement to increase efficiency and productivity.
Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape.
