About The Position

In this position you will play a vital role driving growth in some of the world’s most innovative industries. As the Manager, Channel Development – Scientific, you will lead strategic partnerships with key distribution channels, developing and executing growth plans that expand Ansell’s presence across pharmaceutical, biotechnology, semiconductor, medical device manufacturing, and research markets. Working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and operations teams, you will play a critical role in strengthening partner performance, increasing market share, and delivering exceptional value to customers while advancing Ansell’s Scientific growth strategy.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of documented sales and sales management success and experience in our core market segments or closely related markets.
  • Proven success in managing distributor relationships, developing business plans, managing complex business situations, and influencing internal decision makers.
  • Proven success with channel development and managing complex business situations.
  • Technical sales ability focused in regulated, critical, and controlled environment manufacturing.
  • Solid understanding of operations, forecasting, and supply chain management.
  • Proven ability to build talent and be an outstanding coach, collaborate across business functions and inspire and motivate a team.
  • Ability to travel 50%25 of the time

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth, profitability, and market share across assigned Scientific channel partners and customer accounts.
  • Develop and execute joint business plans that align Ansell and partner objectives, creating clear growth strategies and measurable performance outcomes.
  • Serve as the primary commercial relationship owner, leading strategic discussions, business reviews, and complex negotiations with key customer stakeholders.
  • Partner with Customer Service, Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales Operations, and other cross-functional teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience and achieve business goals.
  • Lead regular planning and strategy sessions with channel partners to review performance, identify opportunities, and accelerate growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Scientific Business Development Managers, Inside Sales, and Strategic Accounts teams to implement go-to-market strategies and achieve revenue targets.
  • Analyze market trends, customer performance, and business opportunities to develop actionable insights and executive-level recommendations.
  • Manage channel marketing and promotional investments, ensuring alignment with business objectives and budget expectations.
  • Monitor performance across business units, product categories, and end-user segments, leveraging data and insights to drive sales growth and optimize results.
  • Identify and capitalize on new opportunities within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, semiconductor, medical device manufacturing, and research markets to expand Ansell’s presence and share of wallet.
