The Manager, Central Fabrication will plan and coordinate available resources to achieve quality, production and financial objectives. Organize daily work flow to produce highest productivity possible within the department while maintaining product quality.

Requirements

BS in Business Administration, Production Operations, O&P or equivalent
One to three years of production management experience

Nice To Haves

Five years orthotics/prosthetics fabrication production experience preferred
American Board Certified (ABC) registered technician preferred in Orthotics and or Prosthetics
Proven problem solving skills.
Proven organizational and time management skills.
Proven interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Proven supervisory or leadership skills.
Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects as well as ongoing production work.

Responsibilities

Scheduling and expediting all work through the department.
Ordering all necessary materials and components required to meet daily production schedule.
Recruiting, hiring, training, and developing department personnel.
Facilitating communication between practitioners and technicians on technical issues to enhance quality control.
Building good communications between the Central Fabrication department and its customers, branches, Central Purchasing and all departments within Hanger.
Providing all pricing for work performed.
Ensuring a safe working environment and promoting safety awareness among employees.
Ensuring compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards and other governmental rules and regulations.
Creating and distributing all department reports and summaries.
Assisting with all personnel issues.
Ensuring adherence to all administrative and financial policies and procedures; developing company spirit and teamwork within the department.
Leading daily execution to meet operational KPIs (People, Safety, Delivery, Quality, Cost).
Performing other duties or special projects as assigned.
