About The Position

This role is for a Manager, Ceded Reinsurance Finance, responsible for leading key accounting and operational processes for the ceded reinsurance portfolio. The position involves overseeing month-end close, managing reinsurance accounting activities, supporting system transformations, and collaborating with Finance, IT, and offshore teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements

• 5+ years in ceded reinsurance operations
• Strong knowledge of reinsurance accounting and treaty structures
• Experience with reinsurance systems
• Advanced Excel
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to Power BI, RPA, or other automation tools
• Experience with PeopleSoft

Responsibilities

• Lead ceded reinsurance accounting, invoicing, and recoveries
• Manage month-end close across multiple business units
• Support system implementations, testing, and process improvements
• Interpret reinsurance treaties and ensure compliance
• Oversee reconciliations and data integrity across systems
• Partner cross-functionally and support regulatory reporting
