About The Position
We’re hiring a Manager, Ceded Reinsurance Finance to lead key accounting and operational processes supporting our ceded reinsurance portfolio. In this role, you’ll oversee month-end close, manage reinsurance accounting activities, support system transformations, and partner closely with Finance, IT, and offshore teams to ensure accurate and efficient processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years in ceded reinsurance operations
- Strong knowledge of reinsurance accounting and treaty structures
- Experience with reinsurance systems (PeopleSoft a plus)
- Advanced Excel
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Nice To Haves
- exposure to Power BI, RPA, or other automation tools is a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead ceded reinsurance accounting, invoicing, and recoveries
- Manage month-end close across multiple business units
- Support system implementations, testing, and process improvements
- Interpret reinsurance treaties and ensure compliance
- Oversee reconciliations and data integrity across systems
- Partner cross-functionally and support regulatory reporting
