About The Position

The Manager of Cardiac Imaging and Programs is responsible for planning, scheduling, and evaluating the operations of the non-invasive cardiovascular departments. This includes but is not limited to, echocardiology, electrocardiology, stress testing, and vascular ultrasound. Ensures the provision of high-quality care and services in accordance with Medical Center policy and regulatory requirements. Responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and administration of new services in order to achieve fiscal year business plans. Manages financial, capital, and human resources to ensure services meet established quality and productivity standards and implements corrective action as necessary. Additionally, the manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing cardiac programs of excellence that promote patient care and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or healthcare related field
  • 3-5 years progressively more responsible related work experience in a clinical/healthcare setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.

  • Master's degree in business or healthcare related field
  • 2 years supervisory/management experience
  • Work related experience in a cardiovascular-related field
  • Analytical abilities necessary in order to assist in preparing and administering budgets, developing quality and productivity measures, developing goals, policies and procedures, and evaluating departmental compliance with institutional, regulatory and professional standards.
  • Knowledge of business and management theory, information systems theory and leadership

Responsibilities

  • Planning, scheduling, and evaluating the operations of non-invasive cardiovascular departments (echocardiology, electrocardiology, stress testing, vascular ultrasound).
