About The Position

Under the supervision of the Cancer Services Executive Administrator, the Manager provides support for planning, organization, development and project implementation for the oncology program. Responsible for achieving outcomes in three major domains: project management, program development and financial growth to enhance target market share, generate additional revenues and preserve existing competitive strengths. Work closely with cancer program leaders to achieve strategic goals and support the program operations, positions and interests of the service line. This role will support the cancer services leadership through the budget process and with executing special projects within their areas, and work with market finance teams to support the build out of oncology P&L and other key financial reporting. The Manager is responsible for supervising administrative coordinator(s) who supports oncology operational leadership in various business functions.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in health administration, business administration or a related area.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in healthcare administration/operations or finance, project management and/or program planning.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in healthcare or other health-related management experience.
  • A master's degree in healthcare administration, business administration or a related area.
  • Demonstrated computer experience with Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office System.
  • A high degree of technical/analytical ability and strategic thinking in the development of business and/or program-level plans for the organization, including experience implementing complex processes/solutions and multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational, presentation, consultative and written and verbal skills.
