About The Position

In the Manager, Campus Operations - EVS position, you’ll lead campus Environmental Services operations across first and second shifts, including Direct Supply Partners and our contracted cleaning company. You’ll create a clean, safe and welcoming campus by setting clear service expectations, developing your team, monitoring performance and improving how work gets done.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 5 - 7 years of direct leadership experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams, with experience using data to monitor service performance.
  • Valid, unexpired driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to work a regular Monday through Friday schedule with flexibility to coordinate service across first and second shifts and work occasional weekends or earlier or later hours based on campus needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop and coach EVS Partners supporting first- and second-shift operations.
  • Plan staffing, assignments, shift handoffs and event coverage to maintain reliable service across campus.
  • Set team goals and service standards aligned with Campus Operations priorities.
  • Build consistency across shifts through regular communication, training, feedback and clear operating practices.
  • Address performance concerns promptly and constructively.
  • Coordinate the contracted cleaning company’s daily work and monitor service quality, coverage and safety practices.
  • Document recurring contractor issues and escalate unresolved service, contract or cost matters to the Senior Manager, Campus Operations.
  • Maintain campus cleanliness, sanitation and appearance through regular inspections and timely corrective action.
  • Manage EVS supplies and inventory, maintain SDS records, and reinforce safety requirements and operating procedures.
  • Review work orders, service trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities to improve service, coordinate responses and track work through completion.
  • Support additional areas of the Campus Operations Department as priorities evolve.
