Role Summary and Impact As a Manager in Campaign Operations, you are the primary operator of our Media (AI led) delivery model, serving as the heartbeat of operational precision for your given PA team. You are responsible for the day-to-day management of AI-driven, cross-disciplinary workflows and automation tools, while becoming a subject matter expert in MFG’s bespoke processes. Your role is to balance technological speed with human precision—acting as an independent project manager who supports and identifies flaws in manual and automated outputs and proposes creative solutions to optimize PA team performance. You will masterfully manage workflow coordination across the PA team, supporting and understanding the various MFG disciplines to ensure every campaign is set up for flawless execution, financial operations are up to date and that client expectations are consistently exceeded.

Requirements

  • 2- 3 years experience at a digital media agency.
  • Relevant experience in digital media and how digital innovation drives change.
  • Ability to work in a team environment that promotes collaboration; but also capable of working independently when needed.
  • Exceptional verbal & written communication skills - ability to think on your feet.
  • Strong interest in AI / Automation - ability to navigate new technologies, drive implementation and change management.
  • A self-motivated individual who is well organized and can manage multiple publisher conversations at the same time.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day management of AI-driven workflows and automation tools like WPP Open and Wrike acting as the primary operator for our Media (AI led) delivery model.
  • Masterfully manage day-to-day campaign operations, workflow coordination, and regional project delivery to keep cross-discipline teams on track.
  • Identify flaws in automated outputs and proactively propose creative technical solutions to optimize pod performance and increase measurable efficiency.
  • Serve as the center of influence for the PA, understanding the various MFG disciplines and the specific roles they play to ensure client expectations are consistently exceeded.
  • Support the team in the early stages of campaign briefing and media plan development by ensuring clients have delivered all operational necessities for a campaign kick off (i.e. product codes, MRFIDs, budgets, audience definition, etc.)
  • Monitor and track all out-of-scope or ad-hoc tasks within the Scope Creep tracker to ensure operational transparency.
  • Responsible for working hand in hand with media planning to build a campaign timeline.
  • Ensure all deliverables and milestones are met on time, or proactively communicate rationale and delays to the core and hub teams
  • Collaborate with discipline leads to ensure PA-specific onboarding is in place and assist in the offboarding of team members.
  • Maintain real-time accuracy in project trackers and "One-Docs" to reflect all campaign changes as they happen.
  • Identify automation opportunities to improve the ways of working for the PA and support the implementation of efficiency tracking.
  • Be the lead resource for the internal finance team when it comes to campaign financial E2E processes and support financial proficiency on behalf of the PA team with support from Planning and Activation
