This role will lead the Supply Chain Planning team for a Business Unit, responsible for all aspects of demand and inventory planning. The position requires aligning the S&OP/IBP vision, strategy, and processes with the BU vision and strategic initiatives to optimize sales growth, margin realization, inventory management, and asset utilization. The Manager will lead cross-functional team meetings and engage with BU Executives to drive decision-making and alignment on monthly consensus demand and supply forecasts, presenting rigorous analysis with options, risk scenarios, and recommendations. Responsibilities include overseeing the team's consensus of the monthly S&OP/IBP volume process, maintaining rolling future month consensus demand plans, developing demand drivers and assumptions, and gaining stakeholder alignment. The role involves determining optimal inventory levels for key items across the supply chain by establishing target levels, assessing safety stock needs, understanding customer requirements, and developing a market-driven inventory strategy. Additionally, the Manager will utilize inventory management tools to rationalize SKUs and optimize inventory while meeting Product Availability targets, lead the Product Life Cycle Management process (new product launches, discontinuations, portfolio optimization), and contribute to the annual budget and operating plan development by leveraging S&OP/IBP plans and assumptions. The role also includes ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines, protecting company information, maintaining professional knowledge, contributing to team efforts, and motivating and leading a high-performance team through performance management, transparent communication, and fostering a positive workplace culture consistent with company values.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering or IT
  • 5+ years of supply chain and people management
  • SAP or similar planning software

Nice To Haves

  • Masters in Business Administration
  • APICS CPIM / CIRM, CSCP, Lean / Six Sigma, and/or PMP certifications
  • managing S&OP / IBP processes

Responsibilities

  • Lead Supply Chain Planning team for a BU responsible for all aspects of demand and inventory planning activities
  • Align the S&OP/IBP vision, strategy and processes with BU vision and strategic initiatives in support of optimizing sales growth, margin realization, inventory management and asset utilization
  • Lead meetings with cross-functional teams and with the BU Executives to drive decision-making and alignment on the monthly consensus demand and supply forecasts with rigorous analysis resulting in options, risk scenarios and recommendations
  • Oversee team consensus of the monthly S&OP/IBP volume process including maintenance of rolling future month consensus demand plans, development of demand drivers and assumptions and gaining full alignment with the appropriate stakeholders
  • Determine optimal inventory for key items across entire supply chain by establishing target levels, assessing safety stock need, customer requirements and establishing a market-driven inventory strategy
  • Utilize inventory management tools to rationalize SKU’s and optimize inventory while meeting Product Availability targets
  • Lead Product Life Cycle Management process including new product launches, discontinuations and portfolio optimization
  • Contributes toward the annual budget and operating plan development process by leveraging ongoing S&OP/IBP demand and supply plans and underlying casual assumptions.
