The role shall drive cross-functional initiatives to resolve business challenges and drive transformational change across the organization. This role supports strategic initiatives by gathering and cleaning data, building analyses, creating dashboards, preparing presentation materials, maintaining project trackers, shaping strategy & strategic initiatives and supporting business cases. The position requires managing projects from conception through implementation, ensuring alignment with company goals while fostering continuous improvement. The role holder will provide data analysis & insights support, strategy creation, program planning & management, and communication support for Walmart’s Sourcing & Procurement teams as part of the Strategy & Transformation team. The Strategy & Transformation team drives enterprise Sourcing & Procurement priorities by delivering high-value initiatives and scaling effective practices across teams, markets, and categories. The team emphasizes clear decision-making, disciplined pilots, strong governance, and AI/digital enablement to achieve measurable enterprise impact. Collaborating cross-functionally, the team focuses on business planning, data analysis, and go-to-market strategies to support transformational change and continuous improvement. This group fosters disciplined execution and innovation to enhance operational performance and deliver sustainable business results aligned with organizational goals.
