About The Position

As the BPA Manager supporting Alcon’s US Surgical function, you will serve as a trusted finance business partner across the Cataract & Glaucoma businesses. You will play a critical role in driving financial performance through insightful analytics, robust planning, and strong operational execution. This role provides end-to-end exposure across planning, forecasting, reporting, and business decision support, partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, S&OP and other finance stakeholders at our Fort Worth, TX site.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs; Assoc.+9 yrs; M.S.+2 yrs; PhD+0 yrs)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
  • 5 Years of Relevant Experience
  • 5 years of experience in FP&A, BPA, or commercial/supply chain finance.
  • Strong financial acumen with deep understanding of Accounting and P&L management.
  • Advanced proficiency in SAP, BI tools, Excel, Power point and financial modelling
  • Proven ability to translate data into insights and business actions.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
  • Strong communication and executive presence.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic partner to business leaders, providing actionable financial insights to support operational and strategic decision-making
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, to evaluate business opportunities and performance drivers
  • Support forward-looking insights and scenario analysis to guide business direction
  • Lead sales unit forecast reconciliation with S&OP and proactively highlight long term write-offs risk
  • Support and coordinate key planning cycles including Target, OQR/Latest Outlook (LO), and Strategic Plan (Strat Plan)
  • Forecast and report on key drivers of sales performance (B-3)
  • Proactively monitor business performance against targets
  • Analyze drivers of variances (price-volume-mix analysis) and identify risks and opportunities
  • Own & coordinate monthly and quarterly close activities with operations & FRA
  • Support reporting decks (New Product Launch review, MFR and OQR decks)
  • Lead ad hoc analyses and reporting requests
  • Owns internal controls and drives improvement in control design and execution to ensure robust and compliant processes
