About The Position

The Manager, Business Intelligence (BI) provides strong leadership to business intelligence (BI) staff, effectively prepares, presents, and explains information to management, and possesses an extensive understanding of database strengths and limitations, sources and definitions of data elements, and the interrelationships between various databases. The position requires organizing and prioritizing tasks effectively, utilizing excellent problem-solving skills and exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and balancing multiple complex projects and deadlines by determining critical issues, timelines, and priorities. The role demands an understanding of executive-level information requirements and absolute integrity in handling highly sensitive and confidential information. The manager will work closely with key stakeholders to develop platforms for reporting, key performance indicators (KPIs), and analytics. Additionally, the role includes developing and mentoring staff, being involved with human resources-related functions, establishing priorities for the team, setting timelines, and assuring they are consistently and efficiently met. Fostering an environment of automation, innovation, and accountability is key, and the individual must conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, data science, computer science, statistics, or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) related majors required.
• Three years of managerial experience required.
• Minimum of three years prior financial, statistical and analytical experience required.
• Extensive understanding of database strengths and limitations, sources and definitions of data elements, and the interrelationships between various databases.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Absolute integrity in handling highly sensitive and confidential information.
