The ioXt Alliance is the global standard for connected device security and the Lead Administrator of the U.S. Cyber Trust Mark program. Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, enterprise sales, channel development, alliances, or go-to-market strategy.
  • Experience within cybersecurity, cloud, enterprise software, networking, IoT, telecommunications, or adjacent technology industries.
  • Proven ability to build executive-level relationships and influence senior decision-makers.
  • Demonstrated success launching strategic initiatives that drive measurable business growth or market adoption.
  • Experience working across Product, Marketing, Engineering, Sales, and Executive Leadership.
  • Strong executive communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into compelling business outcomes.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity while building new programs and markets.

  • Experience working within the cybersecurity industry.
  • Knowledge of IoT ecosystems, connected devices, or embedded technologies.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity standards, certification programs, or regulatory frameworks
  • Experience working with industry alliances, standards bodies, or public-private partnerships.
  • Existing relationships across cybersecurity vendors, device manufacturers, retailers, or technology platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities across the connected device ecosystem.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of manufacturers, retailers, technology providers, certification labs, and strategic partners.
  • Conduct executive meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations with prospective organizations.
  • Identify commercial opportunities that increase participation and program revenue.
  • Develop account plans and guide prospects from initial engagement through onboarding.
  • Represent ioXt at industry conferences and customer meetings to generate qualified opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on lead generation campaigns and partner outreach.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and provide regular business development forecasts.
  • Work closely with executive leadership to prioritize high-value market opportunities.
  • Develop and grow executive relationships with consumer electronics manufacturers, IoT device manufacturers, cybersecurity companies, cloud and platform providers, retailers and ecommerce platforms, certification laboratories, standards organizations, industry associations, government agencies, and insurance providers.
  • Serve as the executive relationship owner for key strategic partners while identifying opportunities for collaboration that accelerate industry adoption.
  • Partner across Marketing, Product, Certification, Engineering, and Policy teams to execute programs including strategic partner launches, joint marketing campaigns, industry events, executive briefings, pilot programs, co-branded initiatives, sales enablement, partner education, and customer awareness campaigns.
  • Translate technical capabilities into compelling business value for executive audiences.
  • Represent ioXt at major industry events including CES, RSA Conference, Mobile World Congress, ISC², and standards forums.
  • Serve as a visible spokesperson for the Cyber Trust Mark and help shape industry conversations around connected device security.
  • Monitor competitive trends, emerging regulations, and market dynamics to identify opportunities for continued program growth.
  • Provide executive leadership with strategic recommendations that influence the future direction of the Cyber Trust Mark.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Collect customer, partner, and market feedback and translate insights into improvements across certification programs, partner experience, program operations, customer adoption, market positioning, and industry engagement.
  • Help remove barriers to adoption by identifying friction points and coordinating solutions across technical, operational, and commercial teams.
