About The Position

We are excited to be growing our Business Development organization and are currently seeking an Enterprise Business Development Manager to join our Denver team. In this role, you will have a high impact position within our sales organization, overseeing the recruitment, performance, and culture of our Enterprise Business Development team in our beautiful Denver office. You will work closely with Sales and Marketing Management to ensure the effective generation of pipelines. Your responsibilities will include managing, developing, and implementing strategic tactics for both inbound and outbound business development. Additionally, you will play a vital role in our marketing and sales leadership team, contributing to the shaping of our BDR program as we expand globally. This position will report to our BDR Director. This is a full-time, hybrid position based out of our Denver, CO office. You will be expected to work from our Denver office 3 days per week. Our hybrid work model offers a blend of remote flexibility and in-person collaboration, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years managing BDR/SDR teams (ideally in SaaS or B2B technology) with a track record of building and scaling high-performing teams.
  • 2+ years in outbound sales development with consistent over-achievement.
  • Comfortable navigating complex, multi-stakeholder B2B sales cycles.
  • Adeptly navigate change and uphold an optimistic perspective within fast-paced, target driven work environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on tactics for driving team results.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing effective inbound and outbound sales strategies and tactics.
  • Candid and clear communication style to all stakeholders at Fivetran; direct reports, leadership and colleagues.
  • Proficient with Salesforce and look forward to improving KPIs to drive the performance of the team.
  • High aptitude to learn new technologies and a strong desire to become an expert in the automated data integration space.
  • Proven experience managing a front-line sales team with the mindset that there is no best, only better when it comes to the success of the BDR team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a frontline Business Development team, ensuring the achievement of activity and targets to generate new demand on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Actively promote an environment that fosters the development of best practices, encouraging a team environment of excellence, collaboration, and continuous development.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing leadership to ensure alignment and continuous improvement of overall strategies.
  • Collaborate with our People team to apply best practices in recruiting top talent for your team.
  • Provide coaching to our current team members, supporting them in reaching their maximum potential, particularly through call listening/coaching, email inspection, and social selling coaching.
