About The Position

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is hiring for the following role in Cambridge, MA (multiple openings): Manager Business Applications Driving strategic planning and aligning organizational priorities with business goals; streamlining the delivery process and managing optimal resource allocation across different mission critical projects; Managing the delivery of start of the art Network Operation Command Center (NOCC) data visualizations at Akamai Cambridge office, ensuring timely delivery and alignment according to the organizational objectives; Steering the Oracle Migration program, which helps the organization delivery improved database scalability, performance and reliability while minimizing the risks and disruption to business operations; preparing insightful reports and metrics to help the leadership in taking key decisions; and Implementing policies and governance frameworks to ensure compliance with corporate standards and regulatory requirements. Telecommuting permitted from anywhere in the United States.

Requirements

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Telecommunications Engineering, plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or closely related technical role.
Three (3) years of experience with CI/CD Pipelines
Three (3) years of experience with Automation tools such as Ansible
Three (3) years of experience with Jira, Jenkins, and Github
Three (3) years of experience with SDLC methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, SAFe, and Waterfall
Three (3) years of experience with Network security tools and technologies
Three (3) years of experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Splunk
Three (3) years of experience with Change management
Three (3) years of experience with Conducting sprint ceremonies and project reviews
Three (3) years of experience with Modernizing in-house systems.
Alternatively, a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Telecommunications Engineering., plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or closely related technical role.
