About The Position

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking an experienced and driven Business Analyst to join the Commercial Operations Team. In this role, you will serve as a key functional expert on our applications supporting Commercial Operations (US & Ex-US) and Global Patient Services (GPS), bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams. You will lead requirements management ensuring compliance with GxP standards and enterprise best practices. This high-impact position demands deep business acumen, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to partner seamlessly with global, cross-functional business and technical teams in a dynamic Agile environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field (required)
  • 5–7 years of experience in IT project execution and/or business consulting on large enterprise implementations
  • 3+ years of experience working in JIRA, Confluence, Figma (Wireframes)
  • Proven experience working with onsite and offshore delivery teams; systems supporting multi-product, multi-region
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills; ability to build relationships across a matrixed, global organization
  • Advanced JIRA proficiency in managing complex business requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a complex vendor environment
  • Strong working knowledge of SDLC methodologies, particularly Agile/Scrum
  • Ability to evaluate, adopt, and responsibly use AI-powered tools to enhance analysis, documentation quality, and team productivity
  • Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree (preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry (preferred)
  • Cell Therapy domain knowledge (a plus)
  • Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools to support business analysis activities (preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience with Salesforce technology (a plus)
  • Salesforce Certifications (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and refine business requirements as user stories
  • Utilize AI tools for documentation and analysis to improve quality, consistency, and efficiency of business requirements and user stories.
  • Conduct requirement gap and impact analysis, functional risk assessments
  • Assess user stories with a deep understanding of technical capabilities and assign appropriate size and complexity estimates
  • Partner closely with the BMS Hyderabad team on user stories, requirements clarification, in-sprint refinement, and sprint demos
  • Collaborate with technical teams on integration mapping and design
  • Support the team in defect management - triaging and resolving priority defects
  • Assess the impact of new requirements on translation needs and manage the end-to-end translation process
  • Build and execute the strategy for translations for new languages and markets
  • Author and maintain GxP documentation and SDLC artifacts such that it adheres to pharmaceutical industry compliance standards
  • Mentor and guide team members on requirement management best practices, sprint delivery, and release demos
  • Identify opportunities where AI-based capabilities can enhance business workflows, translation processes, release demo development, and other operational efficiencies.
  • Drive continuous improvement and process efficiencies across releases and enhancements, including the thoughtful adoption of automation and AI-enabled capabilities

Employees covered under a collective bargaining agreement should consult that document to determine if they are eligible. Contractors, leased workers and other service providers are not eligible to participate in the program.
