About The Position

BetterHelp is the world's largest online therapy service, aiming to make mental health care more accessible. As the Manager of Business Analysis & Insights, you will be a strategic thought partner to the CFO and executive leadership team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving ambiguous problems, identifying opportunities, and operating with a high degree of ownership in a fast-paced environment. The position requires a passion for turning data into compelling narratives and the ability to influence outcomes through cross-functional collaboration, balancing analytical depth with speed to deliver actionable insights.

Requirements

8+ years in strategy, analytics, business intelligence, or insights roles, preferably within D2C or fast-paced, high-growth tech environments or in consulting.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Expert SQL skills.
Experience with Python (preferred) or R.
Strong BI experience (Looker, Tableau, etc.).
Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools to accelerate analytical workflows and software development is strongly preferred.
Experience working with Git, version-controlled analytics workflows and modern analytics engineering practices is preferred.
Comfortable working with large, complex datasets and leveraging big data technologies or platforms.
Demonstrated ability to connect data to business outcomes, make sound judgment calls with imperfect information, and recommend clear actions.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated experience presenting to senior leaders.
Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment with strong prioritization skills and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving and execution.

Responsibilities

Distill complex analyses into concise, executive-ready narratives, adapting communication to various audiences.
Lead high-impact analyses to identify root causes, quantify business opportunities, and develop actionable recommendations.
Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis, improve productivity, automate tasks, and enhance insight quality.
Partner with business decision makers to shape and operationalize the company’s strategic roadmap.
Design scalable analytical frameworks, reusable datasets, automated pipelines, and self-service reporting.
Build trusted relationships across Finance, Product, Marketing, Data Science, and Engineering to drive alignment and execution.
Independently manage multiple concurrent initiatives, prioritize work, navigate ambiguity, and balance short-term needs with long-term opportunities.
