About The Position

As Manager, Brand Planning & Merchandising, you will lead the planning and execution of key brand initiatives that drive traffic, increase guest engagement, and enhance the in-restaurant experience. You’ll manage the integrated promotional calendar, ensuring culinary innovation, value platforms, and cultural moments are strategically aligned across all guest touchpoints. This role oversees in-store marketing efforts and value-driving programs, while also partnering cross-functionally to bring new products to market with cohesive, on-brand storytelling. You will monitor performance, analyze trends, and apply data-driven insights to optimize campaigns, while leading the creative development and execution of in-restaurant merchandising and marketing materials across all locations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in brand marketing, merchandising, or consumer-facing program management; Restaurant or retail industry preferred
  • Experience working in a multi-unit or field marketing environment
  • Proven ability to lead creative development and execution across multiple channels and formats
  • Experience developing and optimizing promotional offers and guest-facing programs
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical mindset with experience in A/B testing and performance analysis
  • Understanding of go-to-market strategy, ideally within restaurant, beverage, or CPG environments
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of the promotional calendar to drive traffic, sales, and guest engagement
  • Ensure cohesive messaging and brand consistency across all guest touchpoints
  • Analyze promotional performance and trends to optimize future campaigns and improve results
  • Manage and evolve key programs such as Daily Brewhouse Specials, Happy Hour, Pizookie Meal Deal, and gift card initiatives
  • Partner cross-functionally to bring new products to market with strong go-to-market strategies and brand alignment
  • Oversee in-restaurant marketing and merchandising, including signage, digital screens, and promotional materials
  • Lead creative development from briefing through execution, ensuring high-quality delivery across all locations
  • Implement testing and optimization strategies to improve messaging, design, and placement effectiveness
  • Drive guest engagement and business performance through thoughtful, well-executed promotional strategies
  • Bring the BJ’s brand to life across every in-restaurant touchpoint with cohesive, compelling storytelling
  • Use data and insights to continuously improve campaign effectiveness and guest connection
  • Partner effectively across Marketing, Culinary, Operations, and external teams to deliver high-impact initiatives
  • Balance creative vision with operational execution in a fast-paced, multi-unit environment
