About The Position

This role plays a key role in shaping and executing J.Jill’s go-to-market messaging strategy, supporting the development and execution of seasonal brand campaigns that define how the brand shows up across channels, campaigns, and key moments. The position helps ensure brand and collection stories are communicated clearly, consistently, and compellingly through cohesive seasonal narratives. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Brand Marketing, this position partners closely with Creative, Merchandising, Marketing, Media, and Ecommerce teams to translate seasonal priorities into integrated campaign narratives that support business objectives and brand growth. The role owns seasonal campaign storytelling and execution, and brand activation opportunities, ensuring creative aligns with brand strategy, resonates with the customer, and delivers against defined KPIs.

Requirements

  • Seasonal Go-To-Market Expertise: Proven experience leading end-to-end seasonal campaigns, from strategic planning through creative development, launch, optimization, and post-campaign analysis.
  • Strong understanding of paid digital and social ecosystems, with the ability to develop, brief, and optimize creative across platforms (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, programmatic), ensuring creative and media strategy work together to drive performance.
  • Ability to translate business objectives into clear campaign strategies, using performance data, audience insights, and testing learnings to inform decisions and creative evolution.
  • Creative Development & Briefing Leadership: Hands-on experience owning creative briefs, guiding concept development, and partnering with internal teams and external agencies to deliver on-brand, high-impact creative at scale.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across brand, creative, media, merchandising, ecommerce, and analytics teams
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills; able to manage multiple campaigns, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience partnering on data-driven media plans across digital and social (and exposure to traditional media), with the ability to interpret results and apply insights to future campaigns.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented, and adaptable; able to prioritize, multitask, and move initiatives forward with minimal oversight.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field required, MBA preferred
  • 6+ years of related experience; retail and brand marketing experience a must.
  • Experience with paid social, digital and traditional media required.
  • Sedentary work, prolonged periods of time working at a desk and on a computer.
  • Ability to communicate information and observe details at close range.
  • Light to moderate lifting may be required

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Senior Manager to develop and execute integrated 360 seasonal communication plans that bring key brand and collection messages to life across owned, earned, and integrated channels.
  • Lead brand storytelling and creative strategy for seasonal and monthly campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall brand positioning and business priorities.
  • Own creative brief development, grounded in customer insights, brand strategy, and campaign objectives; collaborate with internal creative teams and external partners to deliver cohesive, on-brand campaign assets.
  • Serve as a key cross-functional partner to Creative, Merchandising, Media, and Ecommerce teams to ensure seasonal campaigns are clearly articulated and consistently executed across touchpoints.
  • Evaluate campaign performance at a seasonal and monthly level to inform hindsight learnings and future brand and campaign recommendations.
  • Support the ongoing evolution of J.Jill’s brand strategy and seasonal messaging framework in partnership with senior leadership.
