And this is where you come in… Reporting to the Senior Manager of Brand Marketing, the Brand Marketing Manager is responsible for ensuring the success of live games. This role involves developing consumer-focused marketing strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing partner relationships, and staying updated on market trends. The Brand Marketing Manager plays a vital role in orchestrating marketing campaigns and building the awareness of the games.. This role is a full-time, on-site position based 5 days a week at our Downtown LA studio.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in brand marketing, preferably in the gaming industry.
  • Understanding of consumer insights and their application in marketing.
  • Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Budget management and financial analysis proficiency.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Passion for gaming and gaming culture knowledge.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of achieving results.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning:
  • Execute marketing initiatives aligned with business and brand goals.
  • Develop marketing campaign strategies based on consumer insights to support live games.
  • Orchestrate and execute marketing campaigns, ensuring cross functional team alignment and organization to achieve the business and marketing goals.
  • Marketing Strategy Execution:
  • Execute marketing plans & campaigns for your franchise, ensuring consistent execution.
  • Stay updated on competition and market trends to inform marketing strategies.
  • Research, Analysis and Reporting:
  • Develop comprehensive analyses and post-mortem reports on marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with various marketing groups, PLE, BD, Live Ips and game teams to interpret and report on campaign results.
  • Stay updated on competition and market trends, collaborating with consumer insights to inform marketing projects.
  • Identify best practices and techniques, both within and outside of the gaming industry, to drive marketing innovation.
  • Content Creation & Coordination:
  • Develop comprehensive creative briefs for internal and external creative services providers to create effective marketing assets such as trailer, custom videos, illustrations, and various other marketing collateral.
  • Relationship Management:
  • Build relationships with Marketing, Game Development, and Licensing partners.
  • Assist with partner and vendor relationships for marketing initiatives.
  • Partner with Business Development & Senior Manager, Brand Marketing to represent brands with 1st party partners.
  • Contribute to and participate in licensor and partner relationships to enhance collaboration and co-marketing opportunities.
  • Work with external partners to coordinate campaigns, analyze shared results, and manage select partnerships.
  • Provide regular reporting on key game KPIs and marketing campaign results to licensors (and partners as needed).
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with development teams, ensuring alignment between product offering and marketing efforts.
  • Provide daily brand and marketing leadership to cross-functional teams.
  • Collaborate closely with creative services to feed into capacity planning, ensuring that marketing campaigns are planned with the appropriate lead time and comprehensive creative briefs.
