We are seeking a Product Marketing Manager to drive product marketing initiatives for Industrial Scientific. Product Marketing ensures that our portfolio is marketed effectively to the right audience. This role is a key player on the marketing team and will be responsible for supporting launch and sustainment activities for assigned projects and products within our portfolio. The ideal candidate is customer-obsessed, detail-oriented, inquisitive, creative, efficient, and comfortable interacting across the entire organization.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience in product marketing or similar role (preferably B2B)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to influence and align teams around shared business outcomes
  • Ability to analyze data to derive meaningful insights
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and prioritize multiple projects
  • Up to 30% travel
  • Three days a week in office at One Life Way in Pittsburgh, PA

Responsibilities

  • Segmentation, Targeting, Positioning, and Messaging: Collaborate with Product Marketing and Product Management to define clear value propositions and product positioning. Use industry and competitive analysis to target new customer acquisition, expansion with existing customers, and establish solution ROI. Create compelling product messaging that differentiates our products and appeals to target audiences. Translate product enhancements into effective messaging and programs.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and implement innovative strategies and plans for launching new products/features, ensuring alignment with business goals. Lead cross-functional teams to achieve successful product launches.
  • Sales and Commercial Enablement: Equip the commercial team with tools, resources, and training, including sales presentations, product demos, fact sheets, customer success stories, and competitive battle cards.
  • Content Creation: Support the outbound marketing team in producing high-quality marketing materials, such as blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and videos.
  • Performance Tracking: Measure, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of programs and product performance metrics to inform future strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, sales, and the commercial teams to ensure cohesion across the organization.
