About The Position

Honda Aircraft Company is seeking a creative and strategic leader to manage and grow the HondaJet brand. This role is responsible for developing, expressing, and delivering the company’s brand, messaging, and customer experiences across all customer-facing touchpoints in a consistent, compelling, and high-quality manner. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a proven track record of creating and executing integrated marketing communications—both conventional and unconventional—that elevate brand presence, drive engagement, and ensure cohesive brand expression across digital channels, content, events, and experiential initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, liberal studies, or relevant fields
  • 10+ Years work experience in Marketing and/or Public Relations fields, in-house (preferred) or agency, including 5+ years of experience leading people and cross-functional organizations
  • Proven success in strategic brand storytelling through corporate, product, and digital communications
  • Proven ability to target and manage global audiences, digital tools, and partner with internal and external stakeholders for consistent execution
  • Strong commercial, strategic, and communication acumen to link marketing strategy to company growth
  • Proven expertise in targeting and engaging global audiences through cross-cultural and regional marketing and communications
  • Skilled communicator adept at collaborating seamlessly across varied internal and external stakeholders
  • Skilled in developing, managing, and integrating digital marketing campaigns for cross-functional support
  • Experienced in international air shows and similar high-caliber product exhibitions/shows
  • Capable of collaborating with executives and business partners at all levels

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or Master’s Degree preferred
  • Passion for aviation and building something from the ground up; business aviation experience is a plus
  • Experience in the aviation industry is preferred, and expected to quickly grasp the very light jet and light jet product ecosystems
  • Experience in global Honda entities is a plus
  • Understanding of Japanese language and culture is a plus
  • Multiple spoken languages is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead overall marketing communications strategy and integration; utilizing a strategic approach for storytelling and continuity across all customer-facing communications
  • Establish and manage the annual integrated marketing communications planning process, ensuring alignment among senior leadership stakeholders and external partners
  • Build, manage, and develop a high-performing team responsible for all aspects of marketing communications
  • Lead all 3rd party agency and vendor relationships; and provide direction and management of creative content strategy
  • Oversee and build out digital marketing strategy: website and social media
  • Collaborate with Corporate Communications, Public Relations, and various Global Honda stakeholders to ensure consistent and integrated messaging
  • Oversee merchandise strategy and implementation
  • Manage overall integration of events; including: messaging, creative execution, Honda integration, and PR coordination with Corporate Communications
  • Manage and optimize overall marketing communications budget
  • Engage customer facing teams and industry experts to formulate and proactively initiate marketing campaigns and solutions
  • Develop and execute marketing collateral creation and distribution
  • Establish and maintain ROI frameworks for marketing communications to support annual planning and ongoing optimization, with a primary focus on awareness, engagement, and brand health KPIs
  • Ensure standards and consistency of the HondaJet brand are appropriately maintained across all channels
  • Develop processes and tools to enable more effective collaboration and communication with our dealer network for creative content, best practices, and collateral
  • Domestic and international travel required
