About The Position
The Manager Biomedical Services is directly responsible for the overall operation and management of an assigned account at Intelas, a Compass Healthcare company. The role supports healthcare facilities through biomedical asset management, helping maintain equipment uptime and regulatory compliance. The manager administers on-call, maintenance, and inspection schedules; reviews and approves purchase orders; and plans, organizes, and directs contract performance through management and direction of account personnel. The position also ensures the validity and administration of the asset management software program, including timely entry of work orders. The manager reviews financial statements and prepares budgets with senior management, and performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Certification or an associate degree in Electronics or Biomedical Technology, military training, or equivalent experience.
- At least five years of experience in the biomedical field.
- At least four years of supervisory experience.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Administer on-call, maintenance, and inspection schedules.
- Review and approve purchase orders.
- Plan, organize, and direct effective performance of contracts through management and direction of account personnel.
- Ensure the validity of the asset management software program and administer the software.
- Ensure work orders are entered without delay.
- Review financial statements and perform budget preparation with senior management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
